Interrogating the Real

Wood is a product of nature that has been worn down by rain over time, and each piece of wood is unique, and I related this concept to humans. In my cultural background, "roots" has an unusual meaning for me. We have a “roots culture", which represents a search for our family cultures and hometowns, and we often say that " people should not forget where their roots are". I then began to further compare the texture and grain of the wood and the skin, relating it to the skin of ageing people, expressing my reverence for nature and my desire to pass on the spirit of the culture.
